During O-week in 2021 at my alumni university (Western), there were a shockingly high number of sexual assaults against women. I felt compelled to write about it, as it truly felt like an 'attack on femininity'.

I chose to write the lyrics in a back-and-forth text style conversation, that I imagined could have taken place at the time.
